How to stop flashing Red Status LED.
1. When the Status LED turned RED on the gas valve and is flashing , turn the temperature control knob to OFF position.
2. Pull out the two cords from the valve and wait for 5 minutes then put back the two cords.
If you rush to put back the cords, the LED light will still be red. In that case you need to pull out the cords and wait for 5 minutes. After you put back the cords if the LED is not flashing that means it's ready to go to next step.
Honeywell Gas Valve RED Flash Reset Steps.
1. Turn temperature control knob to "OFF" position.
2. Wait 5 minutes to let the unburned gas evacuate from the pilot light and burner area.
3. Turn temperature knob to "PILOT" position and depress the knob.
4. Strat pushing/depressing the igniter button (Piezo igniter) once every 3 second.
5. Continue pushing the igniter button until you see the Blue Status LED light flashing.
This will indicate the pilot light is lit.
6. When you see the flashes Blue . immediately turn the temperature control knob to " VERY HOT".
Count 10 seconds.
7. Then, turn the temperature control knob to "HOT." Count 10 seconds.
8. Then, turn the temperature control knob to " PILOT." Count 10 seconds
9. Now, turn thetemperature control knob to your desired setting. (between HOT & LOW )
The burner will come on.
